KANSAS CITY — Iconic brands are expanding their product offerings with innovative new launches.

In 2027, The Kraft Heinz Co. will be venturing into a new category with the introduction of Kraft Mac and Cheese Cheesy Ramen. This packaged pasta comes in spicy, chicken, and pork flavors, all made with Kraft macaroni and cheese and free from artificial flavors, preservatives, and dyes.

“Consumers are seeking bold flavors and new ways to enjoy their favorite foods, and there is a growing demand for cheesy ramen in the US,” stated Nicolas Henault, vice president of marketing for Kraft Mac and Cheese. “With nearly 90 years of delivering cheesy comfort, we saw an opportunity to bring our cheese expertise to ramen and offer consumers a unique Kraft Mac and Cheese twist on a popular format.”

The Ghirardelli Chocolate Co. is debuting its first line of packaged cookies, available in classic chocolate chip crispy cookie and double chocolate crispy cookie options.

“At Ghirardelli, we believe that everything tastes better when made with Ghirardelli chocolate,” said Bobby Oliver, vice president and head of marketing for The Ghirardelli Chocolate Co. “Cookies are a simple, familiar treat that people enjoy daily, and we wanted to elevate that experience by infusing the quality and delicious chocolate taste that consumers know and love into the cookie aisle.”

The Coca-Cola Co. is adding a carbonated version to its Smartwater brand, featuring electrolytes for enhanced taste.
