BATAVIA, ILL. – Aldi Introduces New Line of Refrigerated Prepared Meals

Aldi is excited to announce the expansion of its own brands line of products into the refrigerated prepared meals category. These convenient meals will be sold under the Aldi brand, offered in both single-serve and family-size options, and priced at $8 and $15, respectively.

“Our customers are constantly seeking meals that are both convenient and high-quality, all while staying within budget,” said Joan Kavanaugh, Vice President of National Buying at Aldi US. “That’s why we carefully considered our approach to entering this category. We are committed to meeting our customers’ needs by providing fresh ingredients, delicious flavors, and unmatched value that they have come to expect from Aldi.”

The new meals will debut in select markets in October, with a nationwide rollout planned by January 2027. The single-serve options will come in five tempting flavors, such as beef Bolognese spaghetti, beef brisket with macaroni and cheese, butter chicken and rice, a chicken burrito bowl, and chicken fettuccine alfredo. For those looking to feed the whole family, the family-size meals will include chicken and bacon macaroni and cheese, as well as a meat lovers pizza.
