Möcean offers adaptogens, aims for adults

by amazonskylers

\"FoodKANSAS CITY — The Möcean (pronounced “motion”) brand of energy drinks is targeting a more mature market by offering adaptogens and prominently labeling caffeine content on their products. Tony Vieira, CEO and co-founder of Mōcean, with over 37 years of experience in the brewing industry, is leading the charge in this shift. Vieira, instrumental in building brands like Blue Moon and White Claw, noticed a gap in the market for energy drinks that appeal to adults.

Unlike many energy drink brands that cater to a younger demographic with flashy marketing tactics, Möcean focuses on transparency and quality. Vieira emphasized that their packaging does not make exaggerated claims or use artificial colors and flavors.

One standout feature of Möcean products is the clear labeling of caffeine content, with each bottle containing 130 mg. This allows consumers to monitor their caffeine intake and stay within the recommended daily limit of 400 mg set by the FDA. The caffeine in Möcean drinks is derived from organic green tea, and the beverages also contain electrolytes and botanicals. One notable ingredient is shiso, an adaptogen known for its anti-inflammatory properties.

Reflecting on his Filipino heritage, Vieira shared how his mother’s traditional remedies inspired Möcean’s focus on natural ingredients that support immunity. The brand’s commitment to health and wellness sets it apart in the competitive energy drink market.

The inspiration for Möcean came from a personal experience in Tony’s family, as his son Christian sought a healthier alternative to traditional energy drinks. Christian, now a co-owner of Möcean with a background in business administration, played a pivotal role in bringing the brand to life.

Additionally, Möcean products can be found in select local markets, with plans to expand into larger retail chains in early 2027.

As Möcean continues to disrupt the energy drink market with its emphasis on quality ingredients and transparency, it is poised for further growth and success in the industry. FBN
