Introducing Spindrift Soda: A Clean-Label Alternative to Traditional Sodas
Spindrift, well-known for its seltzer made with fresh squeezed fruit juice, is now venturing into the better-for-you soda market with the launch of Spindrift Soda. Unlike traditional sodas, Spindrift Soda does not contain superfluous ingredients or sweetener systems, such as prebiotics, stevia, or added sugar. Instead, the sodas contain 20% fruit juice that is not from concentrate and have fewer than 8 grams of naturally occurring sugar.
The line includes five bold and indulgent flavors: Concord Freeze, Ginger Ale, Orange Cream Float, Shirley Temple, and Strawberry Shortcake. These flavors are designed to provide a clean-label alternative to rival sodas like Poppi and Olipop.
Spindrift Soda marks the company’s return to the soda category after its citrus-based sodas were discontinued in 2017. With the rising popularity of better-for-you sodas focused on gut health, Spindrift is taking a unique approach by prioritizing real ingredients over prebiotics.
Founder Bill Creelman expressed the company’s commitment to creating drinks with real beverages in their most extreme form with Spindrift Soda. Each can contains nearly 3/4 of an orange, ensuring bold soda flavor without compromising on ingredients.
Spindrift Soda is now available for purchase on the company’s website and Amazon, with plans for retail store distribution later this year. As the functional drinks market continues to grow, Spindrift is positioning itself as a leader in providing consumers with healthier beverage options.
