Leftovers: Ferrero unwraps new chocolate bar | Tabasco takes on Tex-Mex heat

Ferrero Rocher introduces a delectable chocolate bar

Ferrero Rocher, known for its iconic globe-shaped confections, is expanding its presence in the confectionery market.

The brand is unveiling the Ferrero Rocher Dark Hazelnut and Crunchy Salted Caramel bars. These new offerings feature crunchy hazelnut pieces, salted caramel, and a dark chocolate shell with 55% cocoa content. Drawing inspiration from the original Ferrero Rocher pralines, these bars are elegantly wrapped in the brand’s signature gold foil.

The bars are now available online and at select retailers nationwide.

This launch is part of Ferrero’s strategy to elevate Ferrero Rocher into a $1 billion brand in the U.S.

“As we work towards this goal, product innovation remains a key focus for us,” Ferrero stated in an email to Food Dive. “Our priority is to establish a stronger presence in everyday consumption.”

The Ferrero Rocher Dark Hazelnut and Crunchy Salted Caramel bar is being introduced as part of a promotional campaign encouraging consumers to participate in a four-week “Reading is a Treat” challenge.

Upon completion of the challenge, which includes fall-themed reading prompts paired with Ferrero Rocher chocolate, participants will receive a complimentary bar.
