by amazonskylers

This vegan crunchwrap is absolutely amazing! You can fill it with your favorite ingredients – I used sofritas tofu and cashew queso – wrap it up, fry it, and enjoy! This has quickly become my favorite vegan recipe.

Hello there!

I’m a Crunchwrap filled with cashew queso and completely vegan.

I’m packed with browned sofritas tofu, black beans, cashew queso, crispy tostada, marinated cabbage, tomatoes, avocado, all wrapped in a crispy tortilla. I’m here to bring joy to your taste buds.

But I’m also versatile. Have some cauliflower walnut taco meat? Roasted sweet potatoes? Chipotle cauliflower? I’ll wrap it all up in a Crunchwrap hug, and you’ll have a delicious meal.

(This is me now. Not as a Crunchwrap. Thank you for understanding.)

Before I started, I had some must-haves for this recipe:

  • Quick to make (no soaking cashews or long prep)
  • Simple ingredients (no nutritional yeast)
  • Customizable with any protein, sauce, or veggies you have
  • Above all, incredibly delicious

So yes, this is a recipe, complete with easy instructions for sofritas tofu and cashew queso because they are delicious.

But more than just a recipe, the Crunchwrap is a method, a lifestyle, some might say.

Magic Green Sauce in the fridge? Corn? Pico? Roasted vegetables? Fajita filling? Use them all. This is an open-invite party. While I recommend the sofritas and cashew queso combo, feel free to get creative with your fillings. Just follow the Crunchwrap method.

How To Make a Vegan Crunchwrap

Let’s break down the process into five simple steps:

First, place all your base ingredients on the tortilla. This could include sofritas tofu, beans, rice, or any other protein.

Next, add the crunchy element like tostadas or chips.

Then, layer on the fresh ingredients like lettuce, tomato, jalapeno, and marinated cabbage.

Top it with a smaller tortilla to avoid spillage.

Fold the edges in towards the center to create a pocket, then cook it in a skillet until golden brown and crispy.

Lastly, cut it open and enjoy!

Feel free to add extra cashew queso on top or dip it for extra flavor.

These vegan crunchwraps are incredibly delicious. You have to try them. Everyone deserves this kind of vegan Crunchwrap love in their lives.
