Pam Introduces New Air Fryer Spray for Crispy Results

Leftovers is our look at a few of the product ideas popping up everywhere. Some are intriguing, some sound amazing and some are the kinds of ideas we would never dream of. We can’t write about everything that we get pitched, so here are some leftovers pulled from our inboxes.

Pam is leaning into the fast-growing popularity of the air fryer with its latest offering. Conagra, the parent company of Pam, has developed a new spray formula designed specifically for higher temperatures in air fryers. This spray helps prevent wear and tear on the air fryer’s tray or basket and promotes browning and crisping on various foods like wings, tenders, and fries.

According to Audrey Ingersoll, a vice president at Conagra, the new Pam cooking spray has a 450-degree smoke point, higher than traditional cooking sprays, and is less likely to brown or smoke easily.

Roughly two-thirds of homes today have at least one air fryer, making it a popular kitchen appliance. Conagra has not only introduced the Pam Air Fryer Spray but also added instructions and graphics to more of its foods for air fryer preparation. Additionally, the company has created products specifically designed for air fryers, such as Birds Eye Cauliflower Wings and La Choy Orange Chicken.

As the spices and seasonings market continues to grow, Hormel is capitalizing on the trend with its Chili Seasoning Mix Packets. These seasonings are meant to elevate the flavor of chili recipes and cater to the increasing demand for at-home cooking.
