Kellanova Teams Up with Eggo and Rice Krispies Treats for New Ice Cream Line
When it comes to ice cream, there are plenty of well-known brands to choose from. However, Kellanova is shaking things up with a new partnership with Golden West Food Group to bring Eggo and Rice Krispies Treats ice creams to the market.
The Eggo lineup includes flavors like Buttery Maple, Chocolatey Chip, and Blueberry in both pints and sandwiches. The Rice Krispies products feature original-flavor ice cream and sandwich options with strawberry and triple chocolate ice cream between crispy marshmallow squares.
Frances Alvarez, Senior Vice President of Brand Management at Beanstalk, praised the collaboration, saying, “[Golden West] brilliantly captured the unique essence of each brand and crafted delicious, on-brand treats that bring these beloved classics to life in an exciting new way that consumers will love.”
You can find these tasty treats at major retailers like Walmart, Kroger, and Albertson’s.
Expanding into the dessert aisle is a smart move for CPG brands looking to diversify their offerings. In recent years, we’ve seen brands like Oreo and Snickers make successful forays into the ice cream market.
This launch is just the latest in Kellanova’s efforts to extend the reach of the Eggo brand, which has also ventured into coffee and Sippin’ Cream liqueur.

Graeter’s Ice Cream and Skyline Chili are teaming up to bring a unique and flavorful twist to the frozen treat scene. Their new creation, Skyline Spice Ice Cream, combines Graeter’s French Pot ice cream with crunchy oyster crackers and Skyline’s signature chili spice mix for a sweet and savory sensation.
Richard Graeter, President and CEO of Graeter’s, shared his excitement about the partnership, stating, “Everyone who knows chili knows Skyline, and we were eager to collaborate on a one-of-a-kind, must-try flavor. We spent months perfecting the recipe.”
A recent survey found that consumers are increasingly drawn to spicy food and beverages, leading companies to explore this trend in their product offerings. From Kraft Heinz to PepsiCo, spicy flavors are making a splash across various categories.
Ice cream has become a popular platform for innovation, with brands like Blue Moon and Diageo experimenting with unique flavor combinations. Van Leeuwen, known for its premium ice cream, has even partnered with brands like Hidden Valley and Kraft Heinz to create unconventional ice cream flavors.
