Bacardi Collaborates with Tipsy Scoop for Limited-Edition Flavor

Bacardi has partnered with Tipsy Scoop to create a special Bacardi Ocho Guava Daiquiri flavor ice cream sorbet, available for a limited time in August to celebrate rum month. The product combines the tropical sweetness of guava with Bacardi rum and is available at all Tipsy Scoop locations and for nationwide shipping on Goldbelly. This collaboration not only commemorates rum month but also showcases the innovative and versatile nature of Bacardi by providing a fun and unique way to enjoy alcohol.

“By incorporating our most beloved aged rum expression, BACARDÍ Reserva Ocho, into a classic daiquiri cocktail recipe with a burst of guava flavor, we add the perfect summer twist and celebrate Rum Month in a delightful and innovative way,” said Lisa Pfenning, vice president of Bicardi North America.

The frozen space has become a popular avenue for alcohol brands to introduce their products in a new format while retaining the essence of the alcohol experience.

Other major alcohol brands, such as Molson Coors’ Blue Moon and Diageo-owned Guinness, have also ventured into the frozen space with ice cream offerings. In addition, Dogfish Head collaborated with Tipsy Scoop in 2021 to create a dairy-free oat milk ice cream infused with its Hazy-O! Brew.

Utz Introduces New Zapp’s Flavors

Utz has unveiled new products aiming to bring a bold taste to its Zapp’s lineup inspired by the flavors of New Orleans. The new items include Big Cheezy chips, featuring cheddar cheese, sour cream, and Cajun seasoning, and Sweet Cinnamon & Sugar pretzel sticks.

Zapp’s, known for its New Orleans Kettle Style Potato Chips, has been offering unique flavors since 1985 and was acquired by Utz in 2011. The brand continues to innovate by introducing new flavors that capture the essence of its Louisiana roots.

Utz faces competition in the snacking category from healthier alternatives, but continues to excite customers with unique and bold flavors.

Bob’s Red Mill Expands Pancake and Waffle Mix Line

Bob’s Red Mill has expanded its range of pancake and waffle mixes with new signature blends including Homestyle Buttermilk, Chocolate Chip & Banana, and White Chocolate & Strawberry. These mixes are designed to be convenient and easy to prepare, requiring only the addition of water.
