While growing up, savory snack mixes like Party Mix were a staple. But as I discovered sweet versions like Sugar Cookie Chex Mix and Patriotic Party Mix, I realized there’s room for both!
This Churro Chex Mix uses your favorite Chex cereal, such as rice Chex or Cinnamon Chex for an extra burst of cinnamon flavor.
A mixture of butter, sugar, and brown sugar coats the cereal before baking it to perfection. Enjoy it on its own or as a topping for ice cream.

- Chex Cereal
- Brown Sugar
- Sugar
- Butter
- Corn Syrup
- Cinnamon
How To Make Churro Chex Mix
- Melt butter, brown sugar, and corn syrup in a saucepan. Boil and cook for 1 minute.
- Pour the butter mixture over the cereal and mix until coated.
- Sprinkle cinnamon and sugar over the cereal, spread on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.
- Cool completely before serving.

- Use a timer when boiling the butter mixture to avoid over or undercooking.
- If you prefer extra crunch, bake for 40 minutes instead of 30.
