Anheuser-Busch Invests $17 Million in Houston Brewery
Anheuser-Busch is set to invest $17 million in its Houston brewery, marking the latest investment by the beer giant in its U.S. manufacturing network. This investment will enhance the company’s transportation capabilities and ensure that the facility remains a leader in brewing excellence in the region. Over the past three years, Anheuser-Busch has already invested more than $50 million in the Houston brewery.
“This investment in Houston demonstrates Anheuser-Busch’s dedication to supporting local communities through job creation and economic growth,” stated Brendan Whitworth, CEO of Anheuser-Busch.
The company has pledged to invest $300 million in its U.S. facilities this year, focusing on technology advancements and worker training programs. This commitment is part of a larger $2 billion investment in manufacturing facilities over the past five years.
Despite challenges in the beer industry, including shifting consumer preferences and tariffs, Anheuser-Busch remains optimistic about its growth prospects. The company has seen success with brands like Michelob Ultra and Busch Light, as well as a rise in popularity of RTD canned cocktails.
