Which Air Fryer Did I Use?
I highly recommend the Cuisinart Convection Air Fryer Toaster Oven, which is the model I used for this recipe. How to make Air Fryer Shrimp:
(This is just a summary of the recipe steps; please scroll down for the complete printable recipe. Alternatively, you can use the JUMP TO RECIPE link at the top of the page to go directly to the recipe.)
- Thaw the shrimp in the fridge overnight and drain well in a colander.
- While the shrimp is draining, mix lemon juice, Creole Mustard, sour cream, ground horseradish, and Tony Chachere’s Creole Seasoning to prepare the sauce.
- Combine olive oil and Tony Chachere’s Creole Seasoning in a small bowl.
- Place the shrimp in a large Ziploc bag, add the olive oil mixture, and coat the shrimp with the spicy mixture by squeezing the bag.
- Preheat the Air Fryer to 400F/200C while patting the shrimp dry with paper towels.
- To keep the basket clean, consider using Air Fryer Parchment Paper. Add it to the basket after preheating, then arrange the shrimp in a single layer.
- If you have a smaller Air Fryer, you may need to cook the recipe in two batches, as the shrimp cooks quickly.
- Cook the shrimp for 3 1/2 minutes, or until they turn pink and begin to firm up. Avoid overcooking!
- Check after 3 1/2 minutes and adjust the cooking time if necessary.
- Serve the shrimp warm or at room temperature, with the Mustard-Horseradish Sauce on the side.

- Preheat the Air Fryer to 400F/200C while patting the shrimp dry with paper towels.

- Serve the shrimp warm or at room temperature, with the Mustard-Horseradish Sauce on the side.
Notes
Use any spicy mustard if you don’t have Creole Mustard. Adjust the amount of Prepared Horseradish and Tony Chachere’s Creole Seasoning to taste, as both are quite spicy. Any Creole Seasoning can be used if you don’t have Tony Chachere’s. I recommend using 21-25 per pound size raw shrimp for this recipe, but adjust the cooking time for smaller sizes.
